Secure sharing with view & edit links

Send a property to a partner, investor or solicitor without giving anyone a login. Every link is unguessable, expires on a date you pick, and dies the moment you revoke it.

How it works

  1. 1

    Open Share on any property

The Share button sits next to Edit and Delete in the property header. Enter the recipient’s email address, choose View only or Can edit, and pick how long the link should last: 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.

  2. 2

    The link cannot be guessed

Each link uses a 64-character token built from 48 random bytes, so nobody can guess it or work through likely URLs. The recipient is emailed the link, and it also appears under Active Shares with a countdown, so you can copy it yourself.

  3. 3

The recipient just opens the link

No sign-up, no password, no app. They see a clean read-only page with the photo, address, price, bedrooms, bathrooms, floor area, description and floorplan. Nothing else in your account can be reached from that page.

  4. 4

Give edit rights only when you mean to

If someone tries to make a change through a view-only link, it is refused. Only links you created as Can edit will accept changes, and the recipient sees a “Can Edit” badge, so it is obvious which kind of link they are holding.

  5. 5

Expiry and revoke both stop it dead

Once it passes its expiry, the link stops working on its own. Revoke kills it immediately from the Active Shares list. Either way the recipient sees “Link Expired or Invalid” and nothing else — no property details, and no hint about what changed.

  6. 6

Share a builder-facing schedule the same way

Share from the Refurb tab and you get a schedule of works link, frozen at the moment you create it, so later edits never change what your builder already has. It shows the schedule only: description, quantity, unit and specification, grouped by phase. Budgeted costs are off by default and you have to opt in. Your actual costs, profit and purchase price are never included. There is a Download PDF button for the same document, and links last 30 days by default.

A closer look

Share Property dialog with recipient email, permission, expiry and an active share row
The Share dialog: create a link, then manage what is already out there. Each active share shows who it went to, whether it is view-only or editable, and how long it has left — with Copy Link and Revoke beside it.
The public shared property page as the recipient sees it
What the recipient gets at /shared/<token> — price, beds, baths, floor area, description and floorplan, with no login and no route into the rest of your portfolio.
Share Schedule of Works dialog with the include-budgeted-costs toggle unticked
The builder-facing share. “Include budgeted costs” is unticked by default, and the dialog says plainly what a builder can and cannot see.
The public schedule of works page showing work items grouped by phase with no costs
The frozen schedule at /sow/<token>, grouped into Strip-out, First Fix, Plastering, Second Fix and Decoration. Description, quantity, unit and specification — and, because costs were left off, no money at all.

Secure sharing is part of the free Basic tier, along with the rest of the core toolkit and up to 10 properties.
